The one thing you notice the most when driving any manual transmission car is the look and feel of the shift knob. The 2005 Mustang has some definite room for improvement in this area. Fortunately we have the answer with these sharp looking and ergonomic Billet Shift Knobs. CNC machined from billet aluminum and then plated in either triple chrome or silver anodize, these knobs are then mated to our popular "Gripper" spheres for a no-slip grip. Plus, unlike all metal knobs, the MGW Gripper Knob will not bake you in the summer and freeze you in the winter. These knobs are also factory threaded to the proper new fine thread of the 2005 Mustang so no worries about whether it will fit like other "universal" shift knobs. Another nice feature included in the 2005 Gripper kit is a CNC machined Delrin Shifter boot Adapter that snaps into the shift boot to hold it up against the knob for a truly top notch finished look.
